The Special Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court has sentenced a 30-year-old man to ten years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old boy in November 2015.

Mumbai: The Special Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court has sentenced a 30-year-old man to ten years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old boy in November 2015.
As per the case registered with Dharavi police, on September 4, 2015, the boy had been to his tuition classes with his friends but since there was a power cut, the tuition classes were cancelled. Hence, they were playing in the open space outside.

The accused came to them and offered to give them a pigeon to play. The boy agreed and the accused took him to the terrace of a building and assaulted him and offered him Rs200.
