Mumbai: The City of Dreams, is expected to have heavy rainfall and overcast skies today, June 25. IMD forecasts predominantly overcast skies with substantial rainfall expected today, placing an orange alert for Mumbai and the Konkan area, with weather conditions resembling those of yesterday.

The IMD forecasts a predominantly overcast sky with significant rainfall in the city on Wednesday, June 25, with temperatures ranging from a low of 25 degrees Celsius to a high of 31 degrees Celsius.

As of 9 AM, Mumbai is witnessing light rainfall with a temperature of 28°C. The chance of precipitation is 5%, the humidity is at 85%, and wind speeds are 29 km/h.

Weather Forecast For Upcoming Days

On June 26, IMD forecasts comparable weather, expecting predominantly overcast conditions with moderate rainfall, while temperatures are expected to vary from a low of 23 degrees Celsius to a high of 30 degrees Celsius.

The weather prediction for the next few days shows isolated thunderstorms on Wednesday and Friday, along with a possibility of rain on Thursday. Saturday and Monday are predicted to have scattered thunderstorms, whereas Sunday will include a thunderstorm. Next Tuesday, more scattered thunderstorms are expected.

IMD Issues Orange And Yellow Alert In Maharashtra

The IMD has issued an orange alert for Mumbai on June 25. Certain districts in Maharashtra, including Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg, located in the Konkan area alongside Nashik and Pune regions, have been given an orange alert by the IMD due to anticipated heavy rainfall. Areas within the Nagpur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar region have received a yellow alert and are expected to experience heavy to moderate rainfall today.

As per the recent update from the Sameer app by CPCB, the current AQI is 66, signifying moderate air quality. The air quality has significantly enhanced since the pre-monsoons hit Mumbai in May.
