Mumbai: The city has witnessed significant infrastructural developments alongside some major events. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the trial run of Metro Line 9 between Kashigaon and Dahisar East, marking a major step toward improved suburban connectivity.
In addition, Central Railway has also proposed a new fourth track between Karjat and Panvel to ease congestion and support connectivity to the upcoming Navi Mumbai airport. Meanwhile, a tragic incident occurred in Dahisar, where a 72-year-old woman reportedly took her own life due to prolonged illness; a note was found at the scene. In Thane, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde led a Tiranga Yatra in tribute to the Indian armed forces, following the success of Operation Sindoor.
CM Fadnavis Flags Off Metro Line 9 Trial Run
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the first trial run of Metro Line 9 on Wednesday with the other two Deputy Chief Ministers, marking a significant infrastructure boost aimed at decongesting road traffic and enhancing east-west connectivity in suburban Mumbai.
