Two people lost their lives in a road accident on Elphinstone Bridge, Dadar West, caused by a 21-year-old driver speeding recklessly.

Mumbai: Two people lost their lives in a road accident on Elphinstone Bridge in Dadar West, Mumbai, on March 29 at around 13:35. Priyanshu Amar Wandre, a 21-year-old driver, was speeding recklessly in his vehicle (MH01, ER 9779) while travelling on the north-bound lane towards Dadar Railway Station.
The accident happened when he suddenly and carelessly moved his vehicle into the opposite lane, crashing head-on into a taxi (MH 01 BD 4329) coming from the other direction.

The crash caused the deaths of the taxi driver, Shankar, and the female passenger, Rekha Parmar, 55. The police are looking into the accident, which raises concerns about reckless driving and road safety in the city.
