Mumbai News: Mahim & Haji Ali Dargahs Host Interfaith Meet To Celebrate Multiple Festivals

Mumbai: Mahim Dargah and Haji Ali dargah hosted an interfaith meet on 5 April to celebrate Eid Milan,Ram Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, and Samrat Ashok Jayanti.

Among the participants were managing trustee of the Mahim and Haji Ali dargahs, Suhail Khandwani, spiritual leaders, Bharat Gaurav Shraddhey Shri Devendra Brahmachari, Kishan Depala, Abhishek Mishra, Kishor Khabiya, and Bhawarlal Mangilal Jain, ex-president, Terapanti Sabha Jain Samaj, Mumbai

Community representatives who attended the meet included Shirish Ramtek from the Buddhist community, Mansoor Khan, president of Sufi Islamic Board, Mohammed Ahmed, administrator of the Haji Ali Dargah trust, Dr Sabir Sayed, director (operations), Mahim Dargah, and Dr Amjadkhan Pathan, convenor of Maharashtra for Serv Dharma Parishad

The participants shared their perspectives on promoting peace and harmony through interfaith dialogue and cooperation. The dargah said that the initiative was held to foster a sense of unity and understanding among diverse communities by bringing together diverse faiths. By coming together, these leaders demonstrated their commitment to building a more harmonious society, where people from different backgrounds can coexist peacefully.
