Mumbai Crime: 60-Year-Old Woman Booked For Assaulting BMC Engineer During Anti-Encroachment Drive In Bandra
The Bandra police have booked a 60-year-old woman for allegedly verbally and physically assaulting a BMC engineer during an anti-encroachment drive. According to the FIR, the incident took place on Monday when the civic team along with the police started action at Bazar Road.

Mumbai: The Bandra police have booked a 60-year-old woman for allegedly verbally and physically assaulting a BMC engineer during an anti-encroachment drive. According to the FIR, the incident took place on Monday when the civic team along with the police started action at Bazar Road.
Around 1pm, when they swooped on encroachments behind the Bombay Presidency Education Society near Hanuman Nagar in Bandra West, the accused, Hajra Pathan, began abusing BMC engineer Rishiket Chavan, said the FIR. Later, she attacked him, grabbing his collar and shouting that it was her home and that if they demolished it, she would not spare them, FIR added.
