Mumbai Fire Tragedy: 10-Year-Old Girl Dies, Woman Critically Injured In Mankhurd Mandala Blaze Triggered By Suspected Cylinder Blast
A 10-year old child lost her life, while another female sustained severe burns in a fire that broke in Mankhurd's Mandala area on Monday night. The incident was reported on 8.20 pm to Mumbai Fire Brigade and fire engines, an ambulance and police staff were rushed to the spot.

Mumbai: A 10-year old child lost her life, while another female sustained severe burns in a fire that broke in Mankhurd's Mandala area on Monday night. The incident was reported on 8.20 pm to Mumbai Fire Brigade and fire engines, an ambulance and police staff were rushed to the spot.
As per information given my Fire Control room, at least six people have been reported injured. The injured were taken to BMC-run Shatabdi hospital on Govandi. At the time of filing this report, the BMC has confirmed only one dead and one injured.
"As per information recieved from Shatabdi hospital, Khushi Khan (10) was brought dead and Farah Khan (25) has recieved 70% burns and admitted in critical condition," the statement released by the BMC said.
As per preliminary information, the fire is said to have started due a cylinder blast in Janata Nagar, behind Hanuman Temple in Mankhurd Mandala. The fire was extinguished around 8.40 pm.
