A fire broke out at One Avighna Park, a multi-storey residential building in the Lower Parel of central Mumbai on Thursday morning. According to some users, this is the second time a fire has taken place in the same residential complex.
According to the prliminary information received from Mumbai Fire Brigade, it is a level 1 fire and was reported first at 10.45 am. The information further stated that thus far no injuries have been reported.
Apart from MFB, Police, BEST, Ward Staff, and Ambulance were also mobilised on the spot.
Mumbai Police responding to a user said that their staff is on the spot for further help.
Fire in Kherwadi Police station
Few days ago, fire had broken out in Kherwadi Police station's store room which claimed life of a 57-year-old Assistant Sub-inspector of the station. The blaze erupted on Monday afternoon in the room where documents, record books and official papers were stored; they were burnt during the fire.
At the time of mishap, there were many police officials and few citizens present inside the ground plus two storey police station. The fire brigade was stationed there till late evening for further investigating the cause of the fire. According to the firefighters, the blaze was confined to electric wiring, electric installation, office records, etc.
