Passengers of a Delhi-bound Air India flight from Mumbai had a terrifying experience after the flight was diverted to Jaipur airport allegedly due to low fuel. Videos of frustrated passengers arguing with airline staff have emerged online.
According to flight tracker website Flightradar24.com, the Mumbai-Delhi Air India plane was scheduled to depart at 9:35 am, but the flight was delayed and took off at 9:57 am. Instead of landing at Delhi airport, the flight was diverted to Jaipur where it landed at 11:50 am.
The FPJ tried to reach out to Air India for its response to the incident but failed to do so.
Yesterday, a Dubai-bound Air India flight from Dhaka, carrying 396 passengers and 12 crew members, was forced to make an emergency landing at Nagpur due to technical issues.
