Mumbai: In a shocking and unsettling event reported from Bhagat Singh Nagar in Goregaon (West), a man is said to have strangled his wife to death as their two children became the only eye witness to the crime. On Monday morning, a man from Bhagat Singh Nagar, Goregaon (W), murdered his wife due to suspicions about her fidelity.
Only a few hours after carrying out the offense, the suspect left the location. As per police sources, once they got the information regarding this brutal act, officials from the Bangur Nagar Police Station quickly hurried to the location.
Mumbai Police promptly acted on a tip-off and located the suspect in the Ram Mandir area, where he was arrested. Once apprehended, the suspect was placed under arrest.
According to reports, the Bangur Nagar police have filed a murder case under applicable sections of the BNS and are investigating the issue further.
