Mumbai: A 25-year-old carpenter was arrested for allegedly killing his colleague over a petty dispute at a Kandivali West construction site. The incident occurred on April 20, and an FIR was registered the following day.
According to police, accused Afsar Jameer Uddar and victim Jitendra Chauhan, 30, were working and living at the same site along with other carpenters. Around 10.10pm, Afsar objected to Chauhan speaking loudly on the phone. When Chauhan slapped him during the argument, Afsar later pushed him from the floor’s edge, causing fatal head injuries.
