Mumbai: Man Finds Another Car With Same Model & Number Plate; Police File FIR | Representative Image

Mumbai: A true incident that seems to have been taken from a thriller movie has occured on the streets of Mumbai today. A resident of Nariman Point found an another identical car with not just the same car model but same number plate as well.

As per a report by ANI, a Mumbai based driver, Sakir Ali, who is resident from near Nariman Point, who owns an Ertiga car with the license plate, MH01 EE 2388, notified the RTO and Colaba police after he spotted another Ertiga of the same model and plate number at the Gateway of India, close to the famous Taj Hotel. After Sakir Ali notified the RTO, and both vehicles were taken to the Colaba police station for the investigation.

In the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Prasad Kadam (a resident of Seawoods, Navi Mumbai) had deliberately altered his car's number plate because he had obtained a car loan from Chola Mandlam and was struggling to repay it.

FIR has been filed by Colaba Police against Prasad Kadam, the individual from Navi Mumbai. Investigation is still under progress, further details on the case are awaited.
