Mumbai Boat Tragedy: Body Of Passenger Hansaram Bhatti Found Near Bhaucha Dhakka; Search For Missing 7-Year-Old Continues

Mumbai: Rescue teams have found the body of one of the ferry passengers who was missing since the deadly incident on Wednesday.
The body of Hansaram Bhatti, 43, was found near Bhaucha Dhakka, a wharf along the Thane Creek, along the coast of Dockyard Road on the eastern seafront of Mumbai, on Thursday.
Ranjeet Parmar, a relative of Bhatti, told The Free Press Journal that the family received a phone call informing them that a human hand had been spotted near the wharf.
The body was found stuck inside the boat, with the jacket also entangled in the vessel’s wooden structure. The boat was cut open to retrieve the body, which was then sent to JJ Hospital for post-mortem.
One other person, seven-year-old Johan Naushad Ahmed, remain missing, according to officials.. The search operation is continuing, they said.
