Mumbai: 57-Inch Water Pipeline Leak Detected At Gawade Chowk In Lower Parel, Water Supply Disrupted; Check Affected Areas
Rajesh Tamhane, a resident of Mahim, raised concerns about the absence of alternative arrangements by the civic body during such disruptions. He pointed out that many societies were forced to rely on water supplied through tankers to cope with the shortage.

A leak was detected on a water pipeline at Gawade Chowk in Lower Parel on Tuesday. The civic team has initiated repair work on an urgent basis. As a result, water supply in parts of Prabhadevi, Lower Parel, and Mahim area has been affected. Civic officials have assured that the water supply will be restored by Wednesday.
A leak in a 57-inch pipeline was detected near Deepak Talkies in Lower Parel, leading to a burst that disrupted water supply in several areas, including Prabhadevi, Janta Colony, Adarsh Nagar, Veer Sawarkar Marg, Appasaheb Marathe Marg, Gokhale Road, N M Joshi Marg, Sakharam Bala Pawar Marg, and Curry Road, Senapati bapat marg and Veer Savarkar marg.
