A 20-year-old woman, Shalu Yadav, lost her life in a tragic accident in Mulund (West) on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred around 11:20 am when Shalu was on her way to deliver a tiffin to her uncle, Amarjeet Yadav, 37, who works as a security guard at Piramal Tower in the same area.

Mumbai: A 20-year-old woman, Shalu Yadav, lost her life in a tragic accident in Mulund (West) on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred around 11:20 AM when Shalu was on her way to deliver a tiffin to her uncle, Amarjeet Yadav, 37, who works as a security guard at Piramal Tower in the same area.
Shalu, a resident of Amar Nagar in Mulund (West), had left her home around 11 AM carrying the tiffin box. While walking near Shriram Pada Service Road, a speeding truck struck her from behind.

Local residents rushed her to Agarwal Hospital in Mulund, but she was declared dead upon arrival. The police have registered a case against the truck driver based on a statement from Shalu's father. The driver was arrested later in the afternoon, and further investigations are underway.
