Mumbai: 19-Year-Old Son Of Bizman Booked For Rash Driving, Damaging 5 Motorbikes In Bandra
The accused, Dhruv Gupta claimed that his steering was jammed, which led to the collision with the bikes. The police are investigating the matter. Gupta, a resident of Vile Parle, is a student.

Mumbai: The Bandra police have booked 19-year-old Dhruv Nalin Gupta, son of a business tycoon, for allegedly driving rashly in Bandra West. On Saturday at around 2:40 AM, he was driving a Porsche car when he rammed into several motorbikes parked along the footpath near Sadhu Vaswani Chowk in Bandra West. In the incident, five motorbikes were damaged.
A police officer stated, "No one was injured in the incident. We have filed a case against the youth for rash driving and issued a notice to him."
Steering Was Jammed, Says Youth Involved In Crash
Gupta claimed that his steering was jammed, which led to the collision with the bikes. The police are investigating the matter. Gupta, a resident of Vile Parle, is a student.
Another Accident Reported In Bandra Recently
Meanwhile, in another accident, a 25-year-old model lost her life in an accident in Bandra West on Thursday. She was travelling in the pillion seat of a motorcycle which her friend was riding. When the the two-wheeler reached Kalantri Square, Bandra West, a dumper collided with the bike, resulting in her death, while her friend sustained injuries. The deceased has been identified as Shivani Singh. Meanwhile, the dumper driver fled the scene, and the police are searching for him.
According to the police, the deceased, Shivani, resided in Malad West and worked in the film industry. She and her friend were travelling in Bandra when the accident occurred around 8 p.m. When they reached Ambedkar Road at Kalantri Square, a dumper collided with the motorcycle, causing both to fall. Shivani came under the dumper’s wheels and sustained injuries all over her body. Bystanders transported her to Bhabha Hospital, where doctors examined her and pronounced her dead. Her friend suffered a fractured leg.
