Mumbai: In a tragic hit-and-run incident, a 19-year-old college student, Hasan Amirullah Idrisi, lost his life after a speeding dumper crashed into a motorcycle he was riding pillion. The accident occurred around 6.30am on July 12 at T-junction in Mankhurd, Mumbai.
According to the police, Hasan and his friend Ashraf Anwar Shaikh, 20, residents of Govandi, were en route to Raigad Fort for a college trekking trip.

The impact of the accident threw Ashraf, who was riding the motorcycle, onto the road and left him injured. Hasan, who was riding pillion, was crushed under the rear wheels of the dumper and died on the spot.
