Mumbai: The Maheshwari Mandal, Bhayander, recently organised Samman Samaroh and Gangaur Mahotsav 2025.
About The Event
During the event, All India Maheshwari Mahasabha president Sandeep Kabra, general secretary Ajay Kabra, and Maheshwari Mandal Bhayander trust board secretary Hari Prasad Asava were conferred with the 'Mahesh Shri Bhushan Bhayander' award. They were felicitated by Mandal president Natwar Daga, secretary Narayan Toshniwal, treasurer Suresh Darak, and trust board president Shyam Butada.

Daga said that the award is the highest honour in the Maheshwari community and that it is given to those who render selfless service to society. Daga said that the society has started a unique scheme under which a family residing in Bhayander will get financial benefits upon the birth of a third child.
The beneficiary will be entitled to life insurance worth Rs 10 lakh, medical aid up to Rs 5 lakh, fixed deposit of Rs 5 lakh, and education assistance. The speakers stressed on the need to preserve the culture and heritage of the community in a metropolis like Mumbai and noted that this work is being done by Maheshwari Mandal Bhayander. Kabra said that the Maheshwari Global Expo 2026 will be held in Jodhpur between January 9 and 11, 2026.
