Satara (Maharashtra): While students usually travel to college by bike, cycle, or even bullock carts in some cases, a student from Pasarani village in Wai taluka took it to the next level, paragliding straight to college! A viral video on social media shows the student soaring through the sky with his college bag, making a dramatic entry.

What Exactly Happened?

The student, identified as Samarth Mahangade from Pasarani village in Satara district, resorted to paragliding to reach his exam centre on time. On the exam day, Samarth was reportedly in Panchgani for personal work when he realised that he had an exam scheduled at his college. With just 15-20 minutes left, he faced a major hurdle, massive traffic congestion in the Pasarani Ghat section of the Wai-Panchgani road, making it impossible to reach on time.

Just when it seemed his exam was doomed, adventure sports expert Govind Yewale from GP Adventures in Panchgani stepped in to help, as per a SaamTV report. Yewale and his team decided to fly Samarth over the ghat using paragliding to get him to his exam venue on time.

With no other options left, Samarth, agreed to take the unusual route. Under the supervision of experienced paragliding instructors, he safely soared over the traffic-clogged ghat and landed near his college, making it just in time for his exam.

The video of Samarth’s airborne journey has gone viral, garnering lots of views and likes. Many social media users praised his determination and the quick-thinking adventure sports team that helped him. The incident also highlights the frequent traffic congestion in the Pasarani Ghat section, which often troubles tourists and locals alike.
