Maharashtra Crime: Birthday Bash Turns Deadly In Vasai, 20-Year-Old Dead, 2 Injured In Alcohol-Fueled Brawl
A birthday celebration among young men took a tragic turn on Sunday night in Vasai, as a minor dispute escalated into a violent brawl, leaving one 20-year-old dead and two others injured. The incident occurred in an open area within the Papdi Industrial Estate in Vasai West.

Palghar, Maharashtra: A birthday celebration among young men took a tragic turn on Sunday night in Vasai, as a minor dispute escalated into a violent brawl, leaving one 20-year-old dead and two others injured. The incident occurred in an open area within the Papdi Industrial Estate in Vasai West.
The victims and the accused, all employees of an industrial company, were gathered for a birthday party on Sunday evening. The group was consuming alcohol when, around 8:30 pm, a minor argument broke out among them. The verbal spat quickly intensified.
During the altercation, Manoj Pandey (37) allegedly brandished a knife and repeatedly stabbed Akash Pawar (30) and Rahul Bhurkund (27). The injured victims reportedly retaliated, also attacking Pandey. Pawar sustained severe injuries to his abdomen in the attack.
All injured individuals were admitted to Cardinal Gracious Hospital for treatment. Sadly, Pawar succumbed to his injuries during treatment due to the severity of his abdominal wounds. Pandey and Bhurkund are currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and their condition is reported to be stable.
