Exhibition Showcases Rural Women Entrepreneurs from Across Maharashtra

Originally scheduled to conclude on April 4, the exhibition will now remain open till April 5, following an announcement by Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore.

The exhibition, which showcases the skills, craftsmanship and products of women entrepreneurs from across rural Maharashtra, has witnessed record-breaking footfall.

In just seven days, it has generated a remarkable turnover of around Rs 9 crore, marking a significant milestone.

With around 490 stalls, the exhibition has emerged as a major platform boosting the rural economy and promoting grassroots entrepreneurship. Women participants from various parts of the state have displayed a wide range of products, including handicrafts, organic grains and traditional items, which have received strong demand from urban buyers.

Food Section Major Attraction as Visitors Flock from Morning Till Late Night

The food section has been a major attraction, drawing large crowds. Visitors have thronged the venue from morning till late night, maintaining high enthusiasm for shopping and food.

Several dignitaries and celebrities have also visited the exhibition, appreciating the efforts and talent of rural artisans and entrepreneurs.

The extension of the exhibition has been welcomed as an opportunity for more visitors to experience and support the initiative. Organisers have appealed to citizens to continue their enthusiastic participation and encourage rural women by supporting their products till the extended closing date.
