Kalyan Police Arrest 3 Men For Possessing 120 Bottles Of Codeine Syrup

Thane: As part of a special drive to curb narcotics-related activities in the city, the Kalyan police have arrested three men for allegedly possessing 120 bottles of codeine syrup, each containing 100 ml, valued at approximately ₹27,000.

Tausif Surve, 34, a driver, Linkgaraj Allgud, 40, and Irfan Ibrahim, both residents of Karnataka, were arrested on June 22. The suspects were later produced in court and remanded to police custody. Investigators are now working to trace the source of the codeine syrup.
