Mumbai: Following the registration of an FIR against the YouTube show India’s Got Latent, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell has intensified its investigation. Several celebrities who appeared on the show are now under scrutiny, with summonses being issued to them.
The Cyber Cell has placed all six episodes of the show under its radar. Sources indicate that 30 to 40 celebrities who participated in various episodes will receive summonses for questioning. Earlier on Monday, Guwahati Police registered an FIR against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, along with social media influencers Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija, and comedian Samay Raina. The case pertains to alleged obscene and objectionable remarks made during the show, which have sparked widespread controversy and backlash.

The Maharashtra Cyber Cell’s action signals a strong stance against objectionable content on digital platforms.
