CBI Registers Case Over Illegal Excavation At CONCOR Nagpur, ₹1.62 Crore Loss Incurred
The CBI has registered a case against a former senior official of the Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) Ltd, a government of India undertaking, and a Nagpur-based private company, in relation to an alleged illegal excavation by the latter at CONCOR premises, Nagpur.

Mumbai: The CBI has registered a case against a former senior official of the Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) Ltd, a government of India undertaking, and a Nagpur-based private company, in relation to an alleged illegal excavation by the latter at CONCOR premises, Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport, Nagpur, causing a wrongful loss to CONCOR to the tune of Rs1.62 crore.
The agency sources said their probe is in compliance with the directions of the Lokpal of India. An official said that as per the allegations, the accused public servant was incharge of the site and allowed the private company to undertake illegal excavation.
