The incident occurred at around 03:45 at night. The Bandra-Worli Sea Link where the incident occurred comes under the limits of Worli Police Station.

Mumbai:Mumbai: A 42-year-old man jumped from the Bandra-Worli Sea Link on Thursday morning. As per the police, at 3:45 am, victim Vinay Kumar Yadav arrived at the Sea Link driving an Innova car. He parked the car on one side of the Sea Link and jumped into the sea. The Sea Link's security guard saw Yadav jumping into the sea on CCTV and informed the police. Yadav is being searched for with the assistance of the Navy and Coast Guard. Worli police are investigating the matter.
No suicide note recovered
According to information received from the police, Yadav resides in Jogeshwari and worked as a tourist car driver. This morning, he had to come to South Mumbai to pick up a customer. The owner of the Innova car that Yadav drove resides in Powai.
Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Katkar of Worli Police said that the search for Yadav has begun, but he has not been found as of 7 pm.
Yadav is married and has one child. A driving license was found in the Innova car, which helped identify the person who jumped. No suicide note has been found in the car. Police are gathering more information from Yadav's wife.
Prior to this, many people have committed suicide by jumping from the Sea Link. Last month, a businessman from Khar had committed suicide by jumping from the Banda Worli Sea Link.
