Mumbai: Panic briefly gripped Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after a tissue paper bearing the word “Danger” was found inside the lavatory of an IndiGo flight, officials said.
The incident came to light when IndiGo flight 911 was being prepared for its next journey. Upon noticing the suspicious message, airport authorities immediately alerted the Mumbai Police control room and the nearest police station.
A bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) was rushed to the spot and a thorough investigation was carried out. However, no suspicious object or explosive material was found during the search. Police said further inquiry is underway.
