Atmosphere of riots being created by BJP in Delhi and Mumbai due to upcoming civic polls, alleges Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday targeted BJP over the recent communal clashes that took place on the occasion of Ram Navami and Hanuman Jayanti saying such incidents will trigger an economic crisis in India which will be worse than Ukraine and Sri Lanka. He alleged that the violence in the capital was being instigated to win the upcoming Delhi municipal corporation elections.

"Riots result in a loss in trade and employment. The employment of the working people is drowned and now the country seems to be jumping into that crisis. The Indian economy will go down to the level of Sri Lanka and Ukraine," he claimed. Raut further alleged that efforts are underway to create a riot-like situation in major metropolitan areas of the country.

According to Raut, the communal clashes will have a direct impact on the country’s economy. The economy has started recovering after the coronavirus pandemic but some people are trying to spread unrest. ‘’The way the atmosphere of riots has been created in two major cities of the country is very unfortunate,’’ he said.

Municipal corporation elections are expected in Delhi and this is being done to win that election. The same has been done in Mumbai and the issue of loudspeakers has been raised here,’’ said Raut.
