Agri-Koli Mejwani Season 2: Coastal Food Festival Returns To Courtyard By Marriott Navi Mumbai With Live Music And Traditional Flavours From May 16 To 25

Navi Mumbai: Agri-Koli Mejwani Season 2, the much-awaited seafood festival, is back at Courtyard by Marriott, Navi Mumbai, running from May 16 to May 25, 2025, with dinner served daily from 7:30 p.m. onwards and live music on weekends.

This unique food festival pays homage to the coastal culinary heritage of the Agri and Koli communities, with traditional recipes crafted by Koli women and guest chefs, alongside the hotel’s own culinary team led by Chefs Avinash Nalawade and Savita Koli.

The seafood menu is a treasure trove of bold coastal flavors, featuring dishes like Kombi Koliwada, a spicy and crispy fried chicken with a Koli twist; Agri Chicken Sukka, a dry preparation cooked in traditional spices; Stuffed Pomfret, filled with aromatic masalas; Chimboli Kalvan, a rich curry made with baby shark; Vaang Jawala, a unique brinjal and dried shrimp combination; Kombadi Vade, spicy chicken curry served with fluffy fried bread; Crab Masala, a home-style, fiery crab curry; and Ghavne, soft rice pancakes perfect for soaking up the gravies.

Vegetarian diners can enjoy traditional specialties like Dalimbichi Usal made with sprouted pomegranate seeds, Tondli Chanadal with ivy gourd and lentils, Kolambi Bhat and Narali Bhat—rice dishes enriched with prawns or coconut.
