Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Indore Forest Department rescued a leopard from a well in Datoda village of Indore. The leopard was rescued within just 45 minutes which is possibly a record for such a rescue.
The incident occurred early Thursday morning, drawing concerned locals who alerted authorities about the leopard. The rescue team reached the spot with rescue equipments to safely take out the leopard.
Leopard can be seen in video, holding a pipe to survive inside the well. However, after a successful rescue leopard has been taken to Indore city zoo for medical check up.
Forest range officer Yogesh Yadav said, "The leopard was brought to the Indore zoo and kept under observation for some time. It will be released into the forest after a check-up."

A similar incident was reported in Seoni district when a tiger fell into a well while chasing a wild boar.Villagers spotted the trapped animals early in the morning and immediately alerted the forest department.
Responding quickly, forest officials rushed to the site and initiated the rescue operation. Both animals were successfully rescues by the forest team and released safely into the jungle.
The video of tiger and boar went viral on social media. Both animals can be seen struggling inside the well.
These kind of incidents raises concern about the safety of wild animals.
