Tragic! Pickup Overturns, 14 Devotees Injured In MP's Khargone; One Critical | Representational Image
Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): Fourteen people were injured when a pickup truck carrying devotees overturned while returning from Bhilat Dev temple in Nagalwadi on Tuesday Night.
The tragic accident took place at 9 pm on Tuesday near Tiri Phate, about 60 km from Khargone district headquarters. According to reports, one person is in critical condition and has been admitted to the ICU of Khargone District Hospital. The villagers were returning after performing Puja-darshan on Nag Panchami.
Locals quickly provided treatment to the injured in Segaon before transporting them to the district hospital at 10:30 pm. The injured individuals are residents of Panwada and Sangvi villages.
Civil surgeon Dr Rajkumari Devda reported that one person is in critical condition, while the others are under observation. According to Panwada Sarpanch Kinnaur Singh Patel, the group consisted of 20 villagers, with many of the injured being children and women.

The injured person has been identified as Rinku Singh is currently in the ICU, while others have sustained injuries to their hands, legs and head. The cause of the accident is still unclear. Segaon police are investigating the matter.
