Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori Campaign: Indore Police Launches Anti-Drug Film Contest

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): As part of the state-wide campaign “Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori”, Indore police has announced a reels and short film competition to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

The campaign, running from 15 to 30 July, is being held under the guidance of police commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh. Additional commissioner Amit Singh invited creative entries from all age groups, encouraging people to contribute through their storytelling skills.

Entries must be in MP4 format, in Hindi, English or Hinglish and submitted via WhatsApp by 23 July, 3 PM. Winners will be awarded and featured.

Indore Rural Police spreads anti-drug awareness

Under the “Nashe Se Doori Hai Zaroori” campaign, Indore (Rural) police organised an awareness programme on July 16 at Government College, Sanwer.

Students were educated on the dangers of drug addiction and encouraged to stay drug-free through an oath administered by police officials. ASP Prashant Bhadoria, college principal B.R. Matkar and TI Shriram Patidar addressed the gathering. Students were informed how drugs ruin lives and were provided helpline numbers under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The initiative aimed to create awareness among youth and prevent the rising threat of substance abuse in rural areas.
