Dodiyar raises tribal issues at conference

Sailana MLA Kamleshwar Dodiyar raised issues concerning tribal regions at a young legislators’ conference organised under the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) on Wednesday. His speech drew attention for highlighting ground realities faced by tribal communities and stressing the need for equitable development.

During his address, Dodiyar said people elect public representatives with high expectations, yet basic issues such as roads, water, electricity, education and irrigation often remain unresolved. He alleged that tribal regions face discrimination in budget allocation, which affects development.

Speaking on the vision of Developed India 2047, he emphasised the need to improve education, employment opportunities and basic infrastructure. He also highlighted the role of farmers in strengthening the country’s economy and ensuring food security.
