The transformation of Chacha Nehru Children’s Hospital stands as an exemplary model of community partnership and public contribution. The redevelopment is being carried out in two phases, with a total estimated cost of Rs 8 crore.
Significantly, this entire amount has been raised through donations from social organisations, philanthropists, CREDAI Indore, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds—marking a unique initiative in civic collaboration.
Phase one of the hospital’s revamp was completed in May 2025. As part of the transformation, the hospital now features air-conditioned wards, a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), High Dependency Unit (HDU), Severe Malnutrition Treatment Unit (SMTU), an X-ray room, modular kitchen, Fowler beds, and high-quality sanitation facilities. These improvements aim to create a more supportive and healing environment for child patients during treatment.
