Man Sentenced To Life Imprisonment For Killing Mother’s Lover In MP's Mandleshwar

Mandleshwar (Madhya Pradesh): The special court in Mandleshwar has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his mother’s lover.

The accused, Deepak Gurjar son of Kadwa Gurjar from Sangvi village killed his mother’s lover with an axe and disposing his body with the help of his father.

Special Judge Masood Ahmad Khan found Deepak guilty under IPC Section 302 and Section 3(2)(v) of the SC/ST Act. His father Kadwa Gurjar was also sentenced to four years imprisonment under the relevant section of IPC for helping conceal the crime.

Representing the prosecution, assistant district public prosecutor Vijay Singh Jamra, said that the crime took place on February 18, 2022. When the victim, Sitaram a resident of Katoura village had gone to irrigate crops on Deepak Gurjar’s farmland late night but never returned. His body and motorcycle were later found under the bridge in Rupanu Nala.

Later the investigation led to arrest of Deepak and his father for conducting the crime. The case was registered at Bediya police station following the recovery of the body.
