Madhya Pradesh: Porwal Likely To Be Rebel Congress Candidate
Even a Congress board was made in the jila panchayat and fought a direct fight with the BJP.

BHARAT PORWAL |
Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Congress worker and ex-jila panchayat vice-president Bharat Porwal is likely to rebel against the party and file his nomination as an independent candidate from Ujjain South on October 28.
He claimed that he had the support of the entire society. He has done his homework from saints to the social/political field. He said that he has been a Congressman since the beginning and worked for Congress all his life.
Even a Congress board was made in the jila panchayat and fought a direct fight with the BJP.
He expressed sorrow that the party gave tickets to all those who rebelled against Congress and contested elections in the last 10 years. “I was in Congress, I was seeking ticket and the party sidelined me,” he said.
Porwal reportedly got the backing of former CM Digvijaya Singh, but Chetan Yadav managed the ticket through former PCC chief Arun Yadav and Kamal Nath’s man and former Ujjain North MLA Batuk Shankar Joshi.
