Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A newly-engaged couple was killed in a road accident on Friday night in Rajod village under Dhar district. Lakhan Dhakad and his fiancée Anita died on the spot when an unknown vehicle hit their motorcycle on Rajod-Sardarpur Road.
The couple had gone for a bike ride after their engagement ceremony. They were returning home when the accident happened near a cowshed. The collision was so powerful that both died immediately.
Police and ambulance teams rushed to the scene after getting information. Both bodies were taken to Sardarpur Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The severity of the accident became clear on Saturday morning when the doctor arrived for post-mortem. He found that one leg was missing from the girl's body. Rajod police team went back to the accident spot to search for it.

Rajod police station in-charge Heeru Singh Rawat said they are searching for the unknown vehicle that hit the couple. Police are investigating the case from different angles to find the driver who fled after the accident.
