Madhya Pradesh: District Gets 21 New Doctors Thanks To Minister's Efforts | Representational Image
Alirajpur (Madhya Pradesh): Cabinet Minister Nagar Singh Chouhan's efforts brought 21 new doctors to Alirajpur district which is expected to solve the problem of shortage of doctors in the district. All the doctors are serving their bond period.
The Public Health and Family Welfare Department issued orders appointing these doctors at various health centres.
MLA representative Govinda Gupta said Minister Chauhan immediately contacted Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla when he learned that four doctors were being transferred from the district. Chauhan sent a letter demanding more doctors and specialists for Alirajpur.

Deputy CM Shukla took the matter seriously and gave necessary instructions to health department officers. As a result, 21 doctors were appointed at different health institutions across the district to serve villagers.
Before this, orders were already issued for posting three doctors at District Hospital and one doctor at Bakhtgarh Health Centre. The doctor posted in Bakhtgarh has already joined duty.
The new doctors are posted at: District Hospital Alirajpur (10 doctors), Community Health Center Jobat (1), Primary Health Centres at Nanpur (3), Amkhut (2), Bakhtagad (2), Fulmal (1), Kanakakkad (1) and Bori (1).
Minister Chauhan thanked the Deputy CM and sent another letter requesting permanent doctors and specialists.
