Lucknow Police Arrest Man In Fake IPO And Gaming Scam In MP’s Petlawad

Petlawad (Madhya Pradesh): Lucknow police arrested a man in connection with an alleged fake IPO and gaming scam. The suspect, identified as Vinod Gopal Rathore of Roopgarh village, was produced before the Petlawad court and subsequently taken to Lucknow.

According to information, Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) investigators have named Rathore, owner of Pixlr Company, as an alleged associate of a pan-India fake IPO and stock market cyber fraud syndicate involving Rs 2,934 crore and allegedly orchestrated by Anurag Srivastava.

During interrogation, investigators allegedly found that Rathore helped launch a gaming company in 2022 in connection with Srivastava and other gang members. The company was allegedly used to facilitate suspicious transactions and conceal proceeds from cyber fraud.

Investigators also found that the syndicate allegedly used fake trading applications and WhatsApp groups to attract investors before routing money through My Ground 11 Gaming Zone Pvt Ltd. In separate digital arrest cases, fraudsters allegedly misused the name Vinod Rathore while posing as law enforcement officials online.
