Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police registered a case against a youth for molesting a 16-year-old girl in Azad Nagar police station area. The victim told police that the accused lived in her neighbourhood and molested her after stalking her on her way to school.
According to police, the girl told them that Naveen Kadam was stalking her for about 15 days while she was on her way to school.
On August 15, when the victim was coming back home from school, accused Naveen stopped her near a temple and asked her to go for a walk. Later, he touched her inappropriately and molested her.
The victim informed her family about the entire incident and they reached the police station. The police registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of BNS and POCSO Act and detained him.
Two bike-borne miscreants held for molesting woman
Police arrested two bike-borne miscreants who had molested a woman walking on the road in Sanyogitaganj area. On August 13, the woman was returning after dropping her daughter from school, when the miscreants came on a two-wheeler and molested her.
The accused were identified from CCTV cameras installed nearby. Accused Arun Prajapat was arrested from Bhopal while his accomplice Pankaj Prajapat was arrested on his lead. The police also took out a public parade of the accused and further investigation is underway.
