Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two persons were arrested while they were carrying MD drugs worth Rs 1.10 lakh in the Khajrana area, police said on Thursday.
According to the police, a team was searching for the suspects in the area and caught two persons from near Waghela Garden. During a search, about 11 grams of MD drugs was recovered from them.
The value of the drugs is Rs 1.10 lakh in the international market. A two-wheeler was also recovered from them.
The accused were identified as Riyaz Khan of Khajrana and Sayed Rehan of Mamta Colony. The accused allegedly informed the police that they started supplying drugs to become rich in less time.
Two arrested for robbing man of mobile phone
Khajarana police arrested two persons in connection with a mobile phone snatching incident and recovered a phone from them. According to the police, Sandeep Raghuvanshi of Dewas has lodged a complaint that two persons on a bike snatched his mobile phone from near C-21 Business Park on August 5.
The police checked the CCTVs of the area and managed to arrest two persons named Anurag alias Chhotu and Akash alias Salman, residents of Lasudia area of the city. A mobile phone and the bike used in the crime were seized from them. They are being questioned for other such incidents.
