Indore: ‘Traffic Management Mitra of the Week’
DCP Jain honoured ‘Traffic Management Friend’ Barole at the New Control Room, Palasia, on Tuesday. He appealed to the residents to join the ‘Traffic Management Mitra’ scheme and follow traffic rules responsibly.
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The title of ‘Traffic Management Mitra of the Week’ has been awarded to Vijay Barole, a traffic policeman controlling the flow of traffic at Vijay Nagar Square. He has been awarded the title by DCP (Traffic) Mahesh Chand Jain for his dedication to work and his immense efforts required to maintain the easy flow of traffic around one of the busiest squares of the city.

Additional deputy commissioner of police Anjana Tiwari, additional deputy commissioner of police Anil Kumar Patidar, assistant commissioner of police Ajit Singh Chauhan (Traffic Zone-1), assistant commissioner of police Basant Kumar Kaul (Traffic Zone-2), assistant commissioner of police Santosh Kumar Upadhyay (Traffic Zone-3), assistant commissioner of police Arvind Tiwari (Traffic Zone-4), inspector Dilip Singh Parihar, inspector BS Chauhan, inspector Anita Deerwal and all the staff were present.
By joining the ;Traffic Management Mitra Yojana’, about 430 responsible citizens are providing their invaluable participation in traffic management at various intersections of the city. Any interested citizen can apply for joining the ‘Traffic Management Mitra’ scheme by filling in the form given in the ‘Traffic Management Mitra’ feature of the ‘Citizen COP’ application.
