Indore: Three Held For Robbing Two Persons Of Mobile Phone, Cash

They were riding a stolen bike and had committed crime at knife point

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Three men were arrested for robbing two people of mobile phone and cash at knife point in Khudel area, police said on Tuesday.

The accused were on a stolen bike and were also involved in robbing a person of his mobile phone in Lasudia area. DSP (Rural Headquarters) Umakant Choudhary said that Ajay Rawat and Rhul were robbed by three persons near Pedmi village on August 10.

Rawat informed the police that he was talking with his friend Rahul when three persons on a bike reached there and snatched his mobile phone, some cash from him and his friend at knife point in the night.

A team was constituted to arrest the accused. The team checked CCTVs of some places and managed to arrest the accused named Mohsin and Javed Khan, residents of Khajrana area along with Wasim Gauri, a resident of Chandan Nagar area of the city.

The accused had stolen the bike from the area and they had changed the number plate of the bike to mislead the police. After that they robbed Rawat and his friend. The accused allegedly confessed to robbing a person of his mobile phone in Lasudia area and police have seized the mobile phone from the accused. They are being interrogated for other similar crimes.
