Indore: Several program held to create awareness against drugs

Under the direction of the commissioner of police, Harinarayanchari Mishra, Indore police, through various programmes, brought awareness among the people about the ill effects of drugs and drugs and how to stay away from them.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): To celebrate International Day Against Drug Abuse a series of events were organised by the police department to prevent drug abuse and their smuggling from June 12 to June 26 with the aim of saving people from the ill effects of drugs.

Under the direction of the commissioner of police, Harinarayanchari Mishra, Indore police, through various programmes, brought awareness among the people about the ill effects of drugs and drugs and how to stay away from them. During this drug de-addiction fortnight, Indore police along with various social institutions, and schools/colleges, organised various programmes to make people aware.

Nimish Agrawal, superintendent of police along with deputy commissioner (Headquarters) Manisha Pathak Soni made people aware of the fact that consumption of drugs not only has ill-effects but is also an act of crime.

In another programme, S.P.C. was organised by Reserve Indore Madhya Pradesh Police Organisation in collaboration with Indore Police. An online webinar was organised for K cadets and school children in which additional (DCP Head Quarter) Manisha Pathak Soni, Inspector Radha Jamod, and Aarti Maurya of RI Group about the ill effects of drugs and measures to stay away from it. SPC cadets and school children also took an online oath to stay away from drugs.
