Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Under the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) “Project Spandan,” a special rajyoga meditation and awareness workshop was organised in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris spiritual organisation.
This initiative, aligned with the nationwide “nasha mukt Bharat abhiyan” (drug-free India campaign) aimed to strengthen the mental and emotional well-being of NCB staff while promoting a deeper, spiritual approach to drug de-addiction.
The session included guided rajyoga meditation and discussions on inner peace and emotional empowerment. Assistant director R S Bisht of NCB stated, “We aim to empower our staff not just legally but spiritually as well. The meditation and value-based education offered by Brahma Kumaris bring lasting, deep impact.”

Sister Sangeeta from Brahma Kumaris introduced the organisation’s worldwide services, while Narayan explained how rajyoga not only calms the mind but also balances hormonal activity, enhancing mental health. He stressed that even excessive mobile use is a form of addiction, which can be overcome through discipline and meditation.
All participating NCB personnel pledged to stay drug-free and encourage others to do the same. The workshop was appreciated as a meaningful initiative under project Spandan, highlighting the importance of spiritual wellness in professional and personal life.
