Indore: Girl on way to fetch petrol abducted, sexually abused

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man in the Lasudia area, the police said on Sunday. The accused’s friend also molested the girl. The accused had taken the girl to his friend’s house on the pretext of fetching petrol.

According to the police, the girl has lodged a complaint saying that she was called by her neighbour, a girl, to her house as her two-wheeler’s petrol had got over. They were going to the petrol-pump with the vehicle when the accused stopped them and told them that he could help them fetch petrol. He took along the girl with him on the pretext of bringing petrol.

According to the police, the accused took the girl to a friend’s house where he sexually assaulted her and threatened her. The accused also beat her up when she tried to resist. His friend also harassed the girl at his place in the Bhagirathpura area.

The girl somehow managed to flee from the clutches of the accused and, with the help of a person, managed to make a phone call to one of her friends. Later, her family members reached the area and lodged a complaint with the police at the Bhagirathpura police outpost. Later, the case was transferred to the Lasudia police station as the girl was abducted from there by the accused.

A case has been registered against the accused and he has been detained by the Lasudia police. The role of his friend is being investigated by the police.
