In a joint statement, the officials appealed to taxpayers to complete their payments by Monday to avoid losing out on exemptions available under current rules. Property owners, particularly those with residential properties, are urged to make their payments on time to avail of tax exemptions that will no longer be valid after March 31.
Bhargav emphasised the importance of timely tax payments in contributing to the city’s development. "Paying taxes is not just a civic duty but also a contribution to the betterment of the city. We encourage all residents to make use of the extended hours and complete their payments before the deadline," he said.
