FP Follow-Up: Nine Arrested In Attack On Corporator Kamlesh Kalra's Family; Jitu Yadav’s Nephew Under Scrutiny

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The assault on corporator Kamlesh Kalra’s family and misconduct with his son were allegedly at the behest of MiC member Jeetu Yadav’s nephew Abhilash Yadav, as per police and raids are on to search for him. So far, nine accused out of 29 identified suspects have been arrested.
Two of them, Nitin and Deepak, who allegedly stripped the boy, recorded the incident and made the video viral, are currently on police remand. Mobile phones and knives were seized from them.
During interrogation, the accused allegedly revealed that Jeetu Yadav’s nephew Abhilash Yadav had instigated the group of approximately 40 miscreants to attack Kamlesh Kalra’s house. Corporator Kamlesh Kalra has alleged the involvement of his colleague Jeetu Yadav and police are gathering evidence against him. Additional DCP Aand Yadav said that based on the victim family’s statements, Jeetu Yadav’s role was under investigation and evidence collection was on.
Those arrested allegedly confessed that they acted on Abhilash’s instructions. Their primary target was Kamlesh Kalra, but in his absence, they assaulted and harassed his son. Several suspects still remain at large and police teams are conducting raids at different places to nab them. Five teams have been formed for the investigation and two are searching in neighbouring states while the remaining three are searching in Indore and nearby districts.
