Caught With Married Woman, Indore SI Tied To Pole, Thrashed With Sticks; Video Viral

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A Sub-Inspector (SI) was tied to an electric pole and beaten with sticks by a group of women in Indore early Thursday morning.

The SI was found drunk at a married woman's house in Indore's Khajrana area.

The entire incident was recorded in a video, which is now circulating widely on social media.

The incident happened around 6 am on Thursday.

According to reports, SI Suresh was found at a woman’s house in Khedi area. The woman had a dispute with her husband, as Suresh had been visiting her house for the past two months.

On Thursday, some of the woman’s family members and neighbours saw Suresh at her house and caught him.

People alleged that the SI was drunk and using abusive words. They got angry after seeing him in an objectionable condition and started beating him with sticks.

Some even tried to tie him to an electric pole and tear his clothes.

The situation became tense, and the police had to call extra force to rescue Suresh from the crowd. Later, some women involved in the beating were taken into custody.

The police are now investigating the matter.
