As soon as informed, Rajendra Nagar police reached the spot after receiving the information. They conducted a panchanama, and sent the body to the district hospital for post-mortem.

Not the first case
Last week, a newborn baby girl was found abandoned and covered in insects in Madhya Pradesh’s Maheshwar. Later, it was found that the baby was abandoned by the accused who impregnated his own minor daughter.
In another case from Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district, a young woman threw her newborn baby girl into a dustbin right after giving birth. Within minutes, stray dogs gathered around and began attacking the infant.
