VIDEO: Ghaziabad Police Officer 'Pushed', 'Slapped' BJP Councillor's Driver
A police officer allegedly beat up a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor's driver in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Sunday night. The incident reportedly took place in the Patel Nagar area of the city.

Ghaziabad: A police officer allegedly beat up a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor's driver in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Sunday night. The incident reportedly took place in the Patel Nagar area of the city. The video of the incident also surfaced online and soon it went viral.
Patel Nagar's BJP councillor Sheetal Chaudhary alleged that the police station in-charge thrashed her driver. As per Chaudhary, the police officer beat up his driver Ashish Sharma at around 10 pm on Sunday.

In the video, it could be seen that the police officer along with a constable came on a bike. He entered the place where Sharma was working. An argument broke out between the two. The police officer then pushed and slapped the BJP councillor's driver.
As per Dainik Jagran's report, the BJP councillor will lodge a complaint against the police officer at the Sihani Gate police station. The reason for the police officer assaulting Sharma is not known.
